Welcome to Carnmenellis WI

Meetings held 2nd Tuesday of each month - 7.30pm

Carnmenellis Womens Institute was formed in 1960 with just a few members in attendance. Currently with 16 members, we are still one of the smaller WI's in the country. We have a wide range of ages from 30's to 70's and a varying selection of talents amongst us.

Each meeting we have an interesting speaker which often gets us involved in a variety of crafts and occasionally we go to a different venue which adds interest for us all.

Come along and join us on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for a taste of what the WI does. ALL LADIES WELCOME


Hire The Hall

Our hall is available to hire for birthday parties & meetings either as one off or as a regular booking. Please email us for details.

 
 

How to Find Us

On entering the village make your way to the centre, where you will see a concrete bus shelter. The WI hall is the cream building behind the shelter. Parking is available on the street opposite the shelter. The hall is reached by a small bridge over the stream. Whilst we do have an outside light on during meetings, please take care if it's a dark evening.
